Mejuri celebrated the opening of their second store, this time at Emporium Melbourne, and we were lucky enough to be part of the toast.
Styled by Stylist’s Own, the space came together with a clear eye for detail. The bar cart was the standout, a stainless steel trolley with a scientific edge. Its top shelf was lined with round-bottom flasks standing in a bed of white beans, our Orb Coupes were arranged in neat rows below holding sparkling wine, and Orb Goblets sat on the bottom tier catching the light in different shades of wine. It looked more like a considered still life than a drinks station, which is exactly the point.
Out in the room, that same glassware moved from tray to hand to conversation. There's something quietly satisfying about seeing a glass do exactly what it was made for, held, filled, raised, in a room full of people who clearly know good design when they see it.
